Job Description

Long & Foster Property Management is one of the largest single-family property management and rental service companies in the country.  Under the direction of the Office Manager, the Administrative Assistant performs general clerical and administrative duties to assure the Property Management office runs smoothly on a daily basis.

Administrative Assistant

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Provides phone coverage to Property Management Team.  Transfers calls, takes messages, and answers basic questions from property owners and customers

2. Mails correspondence and maintains contact with utilities, HOA/contact, tenants & owners

3. Filing and file management

4. Data entry

5. Procurement (office supply management)

6. Sorts mail on a daily basis

7. Maintains key inventory

Job Requirements


  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
  • 2 or more years of administrative experience required.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office and strong communication skills.
  • Property Management experience is preferred.
